On December 14, 2025, William E. Naeny died peacefully in Timonium, Maryland. He is the beloved husband of Joan M. Naeny (nee Meek) and the devoted father of Gail L. Piet (Thomas). Lisa C. Gaddis (George) and Stacey J. Eckhardt (Randy). Cherished grandfather of David W. Gregory, Clifford S. Gregory, Amanda M. Bender, Garick Eckhardt, Anna Eckhardt, Conrad Eckhardt, Thomas Piet, Maggie Piet, Benjamin Piet and Adam Piet. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 10AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 13305 Long Green Pike Hydes, Maryland 21082. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
