William Walton
Arnett, Jr.
Nov 10, 1949 — Aug 25, 2025
Bill passed suddenly at the age of 75 in his home. He was born in Baltimore to William W. Arnett, Jr and Helen E. Arnett. He was raised in south Baltimore in the neighbor of Morrell Park. He attended Southern High class of 1967 and was on their swim team. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the Air Force where he worked on C130 planes in Viet Nam. On the return home he started to work at C&P Telephone Company. He retired from Verizon in 2003 along with his wife Denise. He then joined the Masons. He loved following the Orioles and for years had season tickets. He also loved the old Colts. One of the most upsetting times was when the old Colts left town. It took him a couple years to accept the Ravens as his hometown team. He eventually accepted the Ravens and began following them like he did the old Colts. His other joy was watching the English Premier Soccer League. He supported the Baggies out of Birmingham England even though they were up and down in the league.
He was predeceased by his parents William W. Arnett, Jr and Helen E. Arnett. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Denise D. (Namuth) Arnett. He is also survived by a daughter Karen Rodriguez (Ben) grandchildren William, Isabel, Henry, Helene Arnett. Also survived by a son Jon Ryan Arnett (Karen) grandchildren Carlie Taylor, Rylie, Bailey, Liam and Abbey Arnett . He has two brothers Wayne Arnett (Debbie) and Bryan Arnett (Rebecca). One niece Ashley A. (Arnett) Napolitano (Anthony). He also had extended family in England who were Vicki Valsecchi, Ian Cox, Laura (Cook) Pogmore (James) and Nicholas Cook. He was very lucky to have such close neighbors and friends. He will be missed by many.
He is to be buried Friday August 29th at 11:00 in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens for a graveside service. Those attending should arrive by 10:45 and meet at the pond. Please no flowers. Give to your favorite charity or the Shriners Hospital.
