Whitney Marie Newland, devoted daughter of Joseph and Pamela Newland, passed away on March 26, 2025 at Johns Hopkins Hospital at the age of 34. Whitney is survived by her beloved sisters and brothers; Lauren Langhauser, Kelsey (Kendall) Newland Carroll, Jill Bonnett, Joseph Newland, Zachary Langhauser and her partner of three years, Paul Newill-Schamp. Family was everything to Whitney. She was a loving and selfless daughter, sister, partner and friend.

Whitney was a resilient young woman who radiated positivity despite many significant health challenges in her life. Diagnosed with leukemia at the age of six, she bravely battled cancer two more times. Despite the challenges, Whitney remained deeply committed to her education. She earned a Psychology degree from Towson University.

Whitney worked briefly in Human Resources at Hendersen-Webb, Inc. She was disappointed when her health worsened and she could no longer continue, but she was deeply touched by the kindness and support of the wonderful people she met during her time there.

Whitney found joy in creative expression—drawing, crafting and baking brought her comfort and fulfillment. She especially loved finding the perfect gifts for family and friends. It gave her great pleasure to see the joy she could bring to others. Her giving spirit and unwavering positivity were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Whitney earned her wings, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and strength. She will forever be remembered for her generous heart and radiant spirit.
