On December 11, 2025, Wesley Emory Frank Downing (83) passed away peacefully in Baltimore, Maryland surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his beloved partner of 30 years Gilbert R. Miller, his son Raymond Miller and partner Brandon. Also survived by his nieces Lynne Downing and Debbie Downing, sister in law Janet, and cousin Frank Downing, Jr. Wes was predeceased by his father Melbourne Downing Sr. mother Dorthy Downing (Cook) and brother Melbourne Downing Jr.
Family and friends are welcome to the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 16 from 1-3 PM and 5-8 PM. Family and friends are also welcome on Wednesday, December 17 from 9-11 AM with a funeral service to start at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow at Parkwood Cemetery.
