On September 1, 2011 Walter Martin Nickel, passed away after a long illness, beloved husband of Marie E. Nickel (nee Belt), devoted father of Adam B. Nickel, Sr., loving brother of Dolores Righter, Albert G. Nickel, Jr., Leon C. Nickel, Sr., and the late Jean Nickel, cherished grandfather of Adam B. Nickel, Jr. Also survived by his loving in laws Harry and Marie Belt, as well as many cousins and friends. Preceeded in death by his parents Albert G. and Jeannette Nickel, Sr. Mr. Nickel was a former Scout Leader of Troop # 984 and a retired 30 year employee of Xerox Company. He also served in the US Air Force during Vietnam.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit26A) Tuesday, 2-4 and 6-8pm. Mr. Nickel will have a viewing at the St. Timothy's Lutheran Church (Timonium Rd) Wednesday 10 - 11am, at which time a funeral service will begin.
