On October 11, 2012 Walter Rigg Mohler, Sr., beloved husband of the late Sally Mitchell Mohler and survived by his devoted wife Elaine Nelka Burns Mohler; loving father of Betsy and Craig Combs of Essex Junction, VT, Rigg and Denise Mohler of Great Falls, VA, Marycarol and Chris Skaggs of Havre de Grace, MD, Laurie Mohler of Chadds Ford, PA; loving step-father of Mike and Sue Burns of Reisterstown, MD, Redsey and Wina Burns of Boca Raton, FL, Stacy Burns of Baltimore, MD and Meghan Burns of Timonium, MD; grandfather of David, Sarah Beth, Katie, Calvin and AJ Combs, Trey, Emmy, Therese, Sally, and Eva Mohler, Andee, Mitchell and Daniela Skaggs, and Eric Burns; younger brother of Sally Ann Norton and his much older brother Jimmy Mohler both of Catonsville, MD. Predeceased by his parents Donald and Riggie Mohler and his brothers Dutch and John Rigg Mohler.

Friends call at Ruck Towson Funeral Home Inc. 1050 York Road (Exit 26A) Sunday 2-4 and 6:30-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Cockeysville on Monday, Oct 15th at 10am. Interment New Cathedral Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Mt. Saint Joseph High School payable to John R. Mohler Scholarship Fund 4403 Frederick Ave. Baltimore, MD 21229.
