Carpenter, Walter J. on November 23, 2009. Beloved son of Richard B. Carpenter and Winifred W. Carpenter. Loving brother of Tess, Mandi and Cassi Carpenter. Dear grandson of Shirley and Dan Hunt. Aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Walter grew up in Hereford, MD. He attended School in Sparks, MD., the Carver School for the Arts in Towson, MD and was a student at the Maryland Institute of Art. He worked in graphic art, architectural modeling and experimental electronic music. He reveled and found comfort in being outdoors.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, 11:00 AM at Saters Baptist Church with interment following in the church cemetery.
