On July 22, 2024 Vernon Gary Mills passed away peacefully at age 90. Vernon preferred to be called Gary. Gary is survived by his wife of 67 years Laura Herdon Mills; three children Gary D. Mills (The Late Val), Jeffery S. Mills (Karen), Lisa Morgan (Michael);preceded in death by son William Steven Mills; Also surviving are  three grandchildren Kara, Candace, and Jason; three great-grandchildren Jemma, Croy and Kai; brother in law Charles Arkins (The Late Peggy), and nephew T.J. Bauer (The Late Deborah).

Gary enjoyed going to the beach with his family and in later years enjoyed watching the Ravens and Orioles. All services will be private.
