On January 2, 2011 Vernon E. Hornberger, Jr.; beloved husband of the late Myrtle C. (nee Johnson) and Margie I. (nee Pinkerton). Devoted father of Vernon E., III and his wife Gail and Cathy Gauthier and her husband Frank. Dear stepfather of Sandy Foley, Shadonna Hale, Greg Pinkerton and the late Gloria Zucconi. Dear brother of Leona M. Deal, Joseph J. Hornberger, Sr. and the late Grace Ellen Hornberger. Loving grandfather of Eddie, Daniel and Rebecca and great grandfather of Donny. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held at the family owned Leonard J. Ruck, Inc. Funeral Home 5305 Harford Road (at Echodale) on Thursday at 10:00AM. Interment Parkwood Cemetery.
