Suddenly, on October 20, 2010, THOMAS RUSSELL PORTZ, JR.; Member of the Baltimore City Police Department; truly loved husband to Jessica and amazing dad to Kirstin, Shannon, and Tommy; best and most loving all-around son to Tom and JoAnn Portz; greatest most loving brother to Karen and Kristin; loving grandson of Rudy and Terry Michalek and Katherine and the late Robert Portz; fun-loving Godfather and uncle to Christopher and Emily Gast; prankster brother-in-law to John Gast, Ethan Kistler, and Kim Warner; nephew of many dear aunts and uncles, great friends and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, 5200 N. Charles St. on Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
