Obituary

Named after his father, Thomas Philip Ogle Jr. was born March 30th, 1957, in Essex, the first of four children. Known in his youth as an active athlete, Tom was an All-County pitcher in his high school of Eastern Vocational Technical and graduate with the class of 1975. In 1980, at the age of 23, Tom would go on to win his first and only Duckpin Pro Tour star at Legion Bowl as a first-time qualifier and fist time finalist. The first of what would be a long-standing bowling career.

In 1990, he would meet his future wife, Susan Spallone. As many can attest, Tom's sense of humor was one of his many qualities that brought them together. Eight years later, the two would welcome their only child, Colin, into the world and their lives. As some things in life, the marriage came to end. Tom would eventually return to his parent's home in Essex, MD staying with his mother, Kathleen.

In 2021, Tom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate cancer. While he would go into remission in 2022, the cancer returned and for the worst in 2024. He would go on to spend time in a rehabilitation facility the first few months of 2025 before many medical complications would take his life on March 13th, 2025.

Tom is preceded in death by his mother Kathleen Ogle and his father Thomas Ogle Sr. He is survived by his brothers, John "Marty" Ogle, Allan Ogle, and Ronald Ogle; and his son Colin Ogle.
