On August 12, 2024, Thomas "Goose" Kaiser, beloved father of Judy Ruth and her husband Bob and Andy Kaiser and his wife Dawn, and the late Tracey and Tommy Kaiser; loving grandfather of Katie Westfall and her husband Cam, Jeremy Ruth and his wife Brittany and the late Chris Chaney; loving great grandfather of Camden, Madelyn, and Liam.

Goose owned the Wishing Well Lounge in Parkville from 1968-1979. He brought in live music from local musicians and bands from up and down the east coast. He sold the Well (as it was known to regular patrons) in 1979 only to re-open it again in 1982 as a neighborhood sports bar. In 1989 he opened the Bay Cafe Restaurant in Canton, known for doing so at the beginning of the revitalization of the whole area.

Goose was the President of the BCLBA from 2000-2002. He served as legislative co-chair from 2002-2019 for the BCLBA and from 1990-2002 for the MSLBA. He resigned in 2019 to accept a commissioner position with the Baltimore County Liquor Board where he served until his passing.

Goose was an avid Baltimore sports fan and was a season ticket holder for the Baltimore Colts, Ravens and Orioles. He ran many legendary bus trips from his bar and restaurant for the Orioles opening day game.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck-Towson Funeral Home, 1050 York Road, (at beltway exit 26) on Sunday, August 18, 2024, 2-4 & 6-8 PM, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 2 PM.
