On February 9, 2025 Thelma Elizabeth Barry passed away. Thelma was born on July 4, 1931 in Baltimore, MD to her late parents William C. Smith and Madie Smith (nee Estes). Thelma was preceded in death by her husband William E. Barry, Sr. Thelma is survived by her children Sallie Scott and her husband Larry, Betty Shanholtz, Barbara Beltman and her husband Henry, and Gene Shanholtz. Thelma is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc. 7922 Wise Avenue on Friday February 14, 2025 at 12 Noon. Friends may visit on Friday 10 AM – 12 Noon. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Gilchrist Hospice www.gilchristcares.org
