Teresa M. (Potthast) Hirsch died peacefully on September 17, 2011, at age 100 years. Daughter of the late John A. and Margareta Leib Potthast; married for 70 years to the late Henry G. Hirsch; Survived by her sons Richard, Robert, and Thomas; grandchildren Andrea Atticks, Ann, Erik, John, Michael, and Richard Hirsch; and by four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2-4 pm on Friday, October 28 at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Rd (Beltway Exit 26A). A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 930 am on Saturday, October 29 at St John the Evangelist Catholic Chapel, 13305 Long Green Pike, Hydes, MD 21082. Interment will follow at New Cathedral Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Maryland Province Jesuits, Advancement Office, 8600 LaSalle Road, Suite 620, Baltimore, MD 21286-2014.
