Teresa H.
Christensen
d. Mar 23, 2026
On March 23, 2026, Teresa H. Christensen (nee Drymala) passed away unexpectedly at Stella Maris. Teresa was born on October 16, 1947 to Peter and Lucy (nee Oles) Drymala. She was the devoted mother of Lisa Cover (Darin) and Peter J. Christensen (Lynette); cherished grandmother of Ryan Cover, Darin Cover, Jr., Colin Cover, Andrew Christensen, Kyle Christensen (Shelby), Keeley Christensen and Connor Christensen; loving great grandmother to Madi, Mabel and Maelynn; dear sister of Lucille Fahiszak (Dave), Joe Thomas (Laura), Michael Thomas (Shirley), David Thomas (Darlene), Mary Mack, Carol Thomas and Constance Tawney (Mike). She is pre-deceased by her brother, John Thomas. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Teresa was born and raised on South Broadway in Fells Point where her parents owned Pete's Hotel before moving to South Patterson Park Ave. Teresa had many jobs throughout her life. No matter where she was working or what job she was doing, she always treated her customers kindly. The last job Teresa had was at Vaccaro's Italian Pastry Shop in Canton. Her customers and co-workers really loved and cared for her. To this day, many Canton/Fells Point residents would see her out in public or at her favorite restaurant, John's Carry-Out and they would stop to talk to her and tell her how much they missed her.
Teresa will be remembered for her kind and caring personality and her way of making people laugh. she had a genuine love and devotion to her family and friends that will never be replaced. The most important job to Teresa was being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family unconditionally and she welcomed everyone with open arms. Her passing has left an emptiness that will never be filled. She will be missed beyond words. We love you Mom. Until we meet again Mom- Tootaloo!
