On June 9, 2010, Sr. Alice D. Gillen, S.N.D. de N. (Sr. Margaret Edward), beloved member of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, loving sister of Margaret Finley, and Mary Theresa Fagan, pre-deceased by brother Edward Gillen, Sr. Catherine Gillen, S.N.D.de N., and her parents Edward and Margaret Gillen, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ministries included elementary education; diocesan administration in Baltimore and Orlando; from 1980-1995 she held various pastoral positions at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, MD, including Director of Mission Effectiveness, and V.P. for Mission Services.

Family and friends may call at Villa Julie, 1531 Greenspring Valley Rd., Stevenson, MD 21153, Tuesday 9-10:45 A.M. A funeral mass will be offered at 11AM.
