On December 12, 2010, Samuel Joseph Scanlon, beloved husband of Evelyn Scanlon (nee Kotowski); devoted father of Iris O'Brien and her husband Martin, Glenn Scanlon, Mary Demski and her husband Michael, Michael Scanlon and his wife Alice, Robert Scanlon and his wife Ashley, Patricia Brown and her husband Stephen and Raymond Scanlon. Also survived by fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Ave. on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart of Mary Church on Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 8219 Town Center Drive, Baltimore, Maryland 21236.
