On August 12, 2024, Ruth Virginia Ruppersberger passed surrounded by her family; beloved wife of Douglas W. Ruppersberger; devoted mother of Linda Wright and her husband the late Ronald Wright, Sharon Diehl and her husband Scott, Jenna Sellers, Kipley Ruppersberger, Frances Pouder and the late Douglas Ruppersberger, Jr. and Mark Ruppersberger; loving grandmother of Kari Mimnaugh, William Wright, Matthew Wright, Stephanie Gill, Erin Diehl, Christopher Lipnickas, Renee Ruppersberger, Kyle Ruppersberger, Kimberly Stratton, Sheri Ruppersberger, Donna Shook and Samantha Ruppersberger; dear sister of Mary Jane Prkna, Milton Engle and Myrtle Roycroft and the late Ellsworth Keene, Thomas Engle, Edwin Engle, Margaret Brewer, Raymond Engle and Gloria Evans; also survived by fifteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Ave. on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will begin at 7 PM. Interment, Private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
