Obituary

Suddenly, sadly yet mercifully on Saturday November 14th, Ruth J. Habicht (nee Muller) left this world to be eternally at rest and at home with her heavenly Father. Ruth, the eldest daughter of the late Nettie and John Muller, was predeceased by her loving husband Walter F. Habicht in 1999 after 53 years of marriage. She is survived by the loves of her life – her six children, fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren: Janet Murtoff of Newport News, VA. and her late husband Stu, Dayle Seneff and her husband Jim of Orlando, FL. along with their five children and seven grandchildren, Craig and his wife Gail from Baltimore and their three children, Glenn and his wife Kristin of Denver along with two children, Kevin and his wife Denise and five children from Orlando, FL., and Brian of Pasadena, California. She is also survived by her most beloved three sisters: Betty Bennett (and husband Alan), Jeanetta Colonna (and her late husband Richard) and Dorothy Huppert (and husband Richard).

Ruth's children will receive friends and family at the Ruck Funeral Home in Towson on Friday November 20th from 6-9 in the evening. A private (family) graveside service will be held Saturday the 21st at Moreland Park Cemetery on Taylor Avenue at 9:30 in the morning. Friends and family please join us for a celebration of Ruth's life at a memorial service at 11:00 am at the Ruck Funeral Home Chapel in Towson. Following the service, all are warmly welcomed to attend a luncheon in our mother's honor. Instead of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Network Ministries Inc. P.O. Box 18813 Denver, Colorado 80218 – a favored ministry that both Ruth and Walt assisted with while living in Denver.
