Ruth (Cookie) Virginia Fite (nee Hairsine)

November 29, 1938, to April 21, 2026

Ruth lost her long battle with failing health on April 21, 2026, and has joined her two daughters with the Lord.

Those that knew her knew what a great wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend she was. She would give you the shirt off her back and never wanted anything in return. She loved her church family and would show that each month with her card ministry. She couldn't do much, but she was faithful each month. Spreading the Lord's word the best way she could.

Ruth is survived by her husband of almost 70 years, Allen Fite, her daughter Athena Bierman. Her grandchildren Dawn Bierman, David Bierman, Daniel Bierman, Christina Howdyshell-Walters, Katrina Howdyshell-Douglas, great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. Her sister Hope Geisendaffer and her husband Robert and brother Thomas Hairsine. As well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her daughters Ruth Virginia Howdyshell (nee Fite) and Sheila Ann Fite and son-in-law Donald Wayne Bierman and brothers and sisters.

She is loved and will be missed but is at home with her Lord and Savior and her girls.

You can now rest in peace, mom.
