On July 16, 2024, Ruth E. Akers, beloved wife of the late Alton C. "Dingo" Akers; devoted mother of Valerie L. Rill and Angelique R. Akers; loving grandmother of Ronald Clark and Brandy Rill; cherished great grandmother of Hunter Clark; dear sister of Mildred Dorothy Harding; predeceased by two brothers and four sisters; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members.

A funeral service will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Ave on Monday at 11 AM. Interment, Oak Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
