Suddenly, on June 19, 2009 Ronald G. Koontz beloved father of Catherine "Kelsey" Koontz, stepfather of Christopher Luca and Robert Joseph "Joby" Luca, devoted son of Harold Koontz and the late Marie Koontz (nee Bennett).
Friends may call the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26A) on Tuesday 7-9 P.M. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist (13305 Long Green Pike, Hydes) on Thursday at 10A.M. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Family suggest contribution be made to the Catherine Koontz Education Fund c/o Ober, Kales, Grimes & Shriver 409 Washington Ave. Suite 1010 Towson, MD 21204.
