Roger Cook Jones, 83, of Towson, MD, passed away on January 2, 2026. Born in Mt. Holly, NJ to Lester and Florence Jones, Roger was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was a graduate of Wesley College and worked as a welder until he retired in New Holland, PA. Roger was known for his love of taking friends and family out for meals, calling to keep everyone connected with family news, playing pinochle, setting up community puzzles, and always lending a helping hand. He is survived by his elder brother, Lester (Bucky) and Sister-in-law Diane, Sister-in-law Janet, and the families of his 8 nieces and nephews, including numerous grand- and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Bruce. Roger requested that there be no formal service. Instead, the family requests that you find a local diner or restaurant, have a great meal to remember him and send him your love, then leave a generous tip for the waitstaff in his honor.
