On June 30, 2025, Robert J. "Rob" Roblin, former WBAL-TV reporter, died peacefully in Towson, Maryland. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Roblin (nee Panageotou) and is survived by his former wife Dian Roblin (nee Petro) and by his companion Terri Young. Rob is the devoted father of Ablan Roblin and his wife Ariel of Sacramento, California, Frank Roblin and his wife Robyn of Towson, Maryland, Stephen Roblin and his wife Jessica of Olney, Maryland as well as by Beau Kershaw of Severna Park, Maryland. He is the cherished grandfather of Aiden, Kian, Robbie, Rachel, Everett and Nolan Roblin as well as by Grady and Robby Kershaw. Rob is the dear brother of Mary Maharrey and the late John Paul Roblin. Rob is pre-deceased by his parents, Robert Franklin Roblin and Anne Evelyn Roblin (nee Agnew) and by his stepmother Leola Roblin Kreighbaum. Also surviving are other relatives, colleagues and friends.

The family will receive friends at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. (Beltway exit 26) on Monday, July 7, 2025 from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM. The funeral service and interment are private.
