On January 16, 2025, Rita R. Valle (nee Vasile) died peacefully in Towson, Maryland. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Ernest F. Valle, her parents Antonio Vasile and Josephine Vasile (nee Pascucci) and by her siblings Rose Margaret "Peggy" Rini and Dr. Salvatore Vasile. Rita is survived by her devoted daughter Michele Valle and by her cherished granddaughters Caroline N. Palmisano and her husband Craig, Dr. Elizabeth Valle Kogler and Olivia R. Kogler. Also surviving are her nephews Dr. Anthony Vasile and his wife Lori and Robert "Bobby" Vasile.

The family will receive friends at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway exit 26) on Wednesday, from 5PM until 7PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ursula Church, 8801 Harford Rd, Parkville, MD 21234, on Thursday at 10AM. Interment to follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
