On September 12, 2009, Rita Elizabeth Gavin (nee Graham), beloved wife of the late Timothy E. Gavin; devoted mother of Donald W. Gavin and his wife Michele, Timothy C. Gavin and his wife Michelle, Kevin J. Gavin and his wife Carolynn, M. Theresa Hicks and her husband J. Richard, and Mary P. Harris and her husband James; loving grandmother of Lisa M. Gavin, Michael D. Gavin, Kelly M. Hicks, Ryan C. Gavin, J. Kevin Hicks, Christopher M. Gavin, Stephen C. Gavin, Christine M. Gavin, Chelsea E. Hicks, Brendan J. Gavin, Jacob C. Harris, and Gavin P. Harris, and great-grandmother of Addison C. McCollum, Connor J. Lilly, and Baby Lilly.

A vigil service will be held at the family owned Leonard J. Ruck, Inc. Funeral Home, 5305 Harford Road ( at Echodale) on Tuesday 3:30pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary on Wednesday 9:00am. Interment Druid Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9pm.
