Rick
Yoder
d. Jun 6, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, Glenn "Rick" Richard Yoder Jr.
A devoted family man, he lived a life grounded in integrity, hard work, and compassion. He taught his family the value of honesty, the importance of showing up, and the meaning of unconditional love. His greatest joy came from simple moments with family and friends—gathering around the dinner table, cheering from the sidelines, or offering his calm presence during difficult times.
He was the kind of person who could light up a room with a single comment. His sense of humor was quick, clever, and unforgettable—whether it was a perfectly timed joked or a playful tease. He had an extraordinary gift for making people laugh, especially in moments when they needed it most.
But beyond his wit was a deep, unwavering love for his family. He was the rock of our lives—steady, strong, and always there. He showed us that love doesn't have to be loud to be powerful. It's in the quiet support, the everyday sacrifices, and the way he made us feel safe and seen. His love was constant, his presence reassuring, and his legacy will live on in the family he built and cared for with such dedication.
He leaves behind a family who adored him: beloved husband of Beth Yoder (nee Welsh); devoted father of Danielle Welsh (Mike), Chris Lauer (Nicole) and Brett Yoder (April); proud grandfather of William and Charlie Welsh, Maggie and Jordy Lauer, Rylan, Tatum, Logan, and Hayes Yoder; and dear brother of Dennis Yoder. He was preceded in death by his sister, Terry Gervais; and his parents, Glenn Richard Yoder, Sr. and Teresa Ann Yoder (nee Brown).
Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the many years we shared with him and the countless memories we hold dear.
