Obituary

Reagan Danielle Saunders, age 28, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025. She was a beloved daughter, sister, fiancee , and friend. Reagan always had a beautiful smile, quick wit, gracious and kind spirit, and always up for a heart to heart conversation and a caring ear to listen.

Reagan was born on May 13, 1997 in Frederick, MD. She had completed her Certified Nursing Assistant program at Frederick Community College and achieved her Technical Writing Certification from Oregon State University. She had future goals of becoming a technical writer and beginning her life with her beloved fiancee.

Reagan is survived by her parents, Douglas and Lisa Saunders; sisters, Krystal Coats, Sierra Saunders, Mikayla Saunders, and Savannah Saunders; Grandmothers, Ada Hobbs and Carol Saunders; fiancee Luis Lopez; and many loving aunts, uncles, and nieces; as well as her much loved dog, Creed, and cat Calypso.

Reagan touched many hearts and lives in her 28 years. She genuinely cared about all who crossed her path. She would sit and listen and always had a kind word and compliment. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, walking and training her dog, Creed, playing video games, going on adventures with her beloved best friend, Haley Trevino, and going out for her favorite foods like tacos, pupusas, Italian, and her favorite Thai dish chicken Pad See Ew. She also enjoyed spending time watching her favorite shows like Rhett & Link, Bob's Burgers, Seinfeld, and Dexter.

She showed incredible strength and courage during her two year battle with cancer. She endured the endless treatments and tests with a grateful heart to those who cared for her during this process. She touched so many lives at the University of Maryland Medical Center who took the time to come and see her on their free time to let her know how much they cared for her. She easily made many friends there and made an impact on every unit she was in. She always said how incredibly grateful she was to all who worked so hard to help her battle this terrible disease. Her smile and laugh, even when in pain and discomfort, will be embedded onto the hearts of those who knew her.

Reagan had a strong belief and love for God. Even in the bleakest moments, she held on to her faith and her salvation. She believed with her whole heart in Jesus as her Savior, It is a small but comforting consolation to those who are left behind that she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, her passed loved ones, and all of the glories of Heaven rejoicing and praising God for His love and mercy.

Reagan will be greatly missed by all who knew her who will forever hold her sweet memory in their hearts.
