On January 31, 2026, Randy Earl Wolford passed away peacefully in Towson, MD. Randy was a Navy veteran who proudly served in the Vietnam War. After his discharge from the Navy, he attended Slippery Rock University earning his Bachelor's degree and then Hopkins University to complete his Master's degree. He worked and retired from Kingsville Elementary School as a librarian with 38 years of service.

Randy was born to Beatrice and Earl Wolford of Butler Pennsylvania.

Randy is survived by his beloved wife, Lois Ann Wolford (nee Ward) of 40 years; his stepdaughter Stefanie Chen of California; his nephew Dan Holohan and son. He is pre-deceased in death by his parents and sister, Kathy Holohan.

Randy loved books and was a voracious reader. He also enjoyed watching movies on Netflix, working on his computer, and listening to music. He had an extensive record and CD collection that reflected his deep appreciation  and love of music. After retiring, he found renewed purpose in volunteering at GBMC's Nearly New Shop where he loved spending time helping others and formed new friendships.

The family will receive friends at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204 on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Veteran Association of America at www.vetsaa.org
