In Loving Memory of Philip Stephen Boling Born April 14, 1963 - Passed July 17, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Philip Stephen Boling, age 63, who left this world on July 17, 2026.

Philip was full of kindness, love, and a dedication to helping others. Philip was a cherished father, brother, and friend. From a young age, Philip exhibited a deep confidence that led him to inspire others and accomplish whatever he set out to do. Philip's amiable nature made it easy for him to find a friend in every room.

Philip graduated from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College), where he studied History. During his summers in college, Philip worked as a beach lifeguard in North Wildwood, NJ. After graduating, Philip pursued a career in the insurance industry.

As he aged, Philip's truest joy showed in his endless love for his sons. He enjoyed working out at the YMCA with Blake, Boy Scouts camping trips with Matt, and rooting for the Baltimore Ravens with Jack. Philip's spirit lives on in his children. Outside of time with his family, Philip enjoyed action movies and country music.

Philip is the beloved son of Mark and Francette Boling; brother of Christine Boling Leubecker, and her husband Brian; father of Blake Boling, and his wife Meghan (nee Haag), and Matthew Boling, and his wife Lauren (nee Bernardo), and the late Jack Boling.

The family will receive friends at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Rd. (Beltway Exit 26) on Thursday, July 23rd, from 5-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Hampden United Methodist Church on Friday, July 24th at 11:00am.
