Peter Alan Coleman

On October 17, 2026, Peter Alan Coleman passed away peacefully in Towson, MD. He was the cherished son of the late Rachel Coleman (nee Watts) and Jerome Coleman; beloved husband of 13 years to Beverly Anne Smetana-Coleman; devoted father of Kyle Coleman and Haley Clark and her husband Matthew Clark. Peter is also survived by his faithful dog Ellie and many other loving family, friends, and coworkers. 

Peter loved his family above all else and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a dedicated employee who loved his job and took his responsibilities very seriously, but his family and friends also knew him as a huge jokester who enjoyed making people laugh. Peter loved sports and was fan of baseball, the Baltimore Ravens, and was a loyal fan of the University of Maryland Women’s Basketball Team, which meant even more when his daughter Haley was able to attend the University of Maryland. 

The service and interment for Mr. Coleman will be private.
