On October 2, 2024, Paul S. Matassa died peacefully at home in Baltimore, MD. Paul is the beloved husband of Rennie Hiltz and the loving brother in law of Terri Johnston and her husband Kevin, Linda Mertel and her husband George and Gary Hiltz and his wife Jeanie. Paul is also survived by nieces and nephews, his extended family and by his loving family of friends. He is predeceased by his parents Charles Matassa, Sr. and Yolanda Vettor Matassa and by his brothers Charles Matassa, Jr. and Brian Matassa.

A Memorial Mass celebrating Pauls' life will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church 740 North Calvert Street Baltimore, MD 21202 on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be appreciated to The American Cancer Society www.cancer.org , St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org or to the charity of your choice.
