Patricia Van Reuth Gemmell (1927-2025)

Patricia Van Reuth Gemmell, 97, of Towson, Maryland, died peacefully in her sleep on June 17, 2025. She was born in BaltImore in 1927 to Floris Charles and Muriel (née Booth) Van Reuth.  "Pat of Towson" was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Shaw Gemmell, and her sister, Margy Van Reuth Goode. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie (John) Shettle of Parkville, Maryland, her son, Jeffrey (Julie) Gemmell of Landisville, Pennsylvania, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

In her younger years, you could find Pat on the greens at Sparrows Point Country Club or volunteering in "The Surprise Shop" at Towson's Trinity Episcopal Church.

Her memorial service will take place at Trinity Episcopal Church, 120 Allegheny Ave., Towson, MD, on July 15th at 11 AM. Donations may be sent to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
