Patricia "Pat" Blaney Dunn, 86, of Mays Chapel, Lutherville, MD, passed on Thursday, January 16, 2025. She was the beloved wife of James "Jay" M. Dunn, III; beloved daughter of the late John W. Blaney and the late Nora Delphyne Hash.
Pat was a retired legal secretary having worked for Weinberg and Green, LLC and Mister, Loker and Bartlett, LLC law firms in her latter years of employment. In her retirement, she volunteered at Pinewood Elementary School in Timonium, MD where 3 of her granddaughters attended. She helped Mrs. Lockwood in the library for over a decade, and also filled in when needed in the front office. She loved listening to piano music, baking and sharing her delicious cookies, and all creatures great and small, especially hummingbirds and her cat, Toby. Pat was a 1956 graduate of North Harford High School in Pylesville, MD and received her AA degree from Harford Community College.
Pat was the devoted mother of Susan Snider (David), Sandra Cassard (Willem) and Steven Duff; loving grandmother of Benjamin Snider, Genevieve Snider Margotta, Markell Cassard Pons, Caroline and Lydia Cassard, Samantha, Henry, and Isabelle Duff and the late Wyatt Duff; loving great grandmother of Reine, Alanna, Charlotte, William, Michael and Auggie. Also survived by Jay's children Shelley, Jimmy and Darrin Dunn (Jen) and grandchildren Braden, Tyler and Allie Dunn. Survived by brother John Blaney and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Nancy Ruby and Frances Sturgill and previous spouse Robert Duff.
