On April 9, Ora Breeden (nee Huchting), beloved wife of the late George B. Breeden, mother of sons George L. Breeden II (wife Barbara) of Annapolis, MD; John F. H. Breeden (wife Claudia) of Annapolis, MD; William B. Breeden of Kansas City, MO; and James B. Breeden (wife Sharon) of Fredericksburg, VA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, John Frederick Huchting and Nora F. Huchting (nee Barker) of Charleston, SC, and also her brother and sister , John F. Huchting, Jr. and Amy H. Frampton, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC .

Ora Breeden graduated from the College of Charleston in 1942 with a BS in Biology and in 1945 graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing as a RN. She worked as a nurse in Charleston, SC, and as a school nurse in Baltimore, MD. She enjoyed national and international travel with George, her husband of 65 years, genealogy research, reading, crossword puzzles and seafood, particularly crabs and raw oysters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, 1:00 PM-public viewing, services at 1:30 PM , Ruck Funeral Home, 1050 York Road, Towson, MD, with interment following at Woodlawn Cemetery, Baltimore. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be donated in her name to the College of Charleston, the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing or to the charity of your choice.
