Nicholas John Kollman passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025 at the age of 85 at Brightview Memory Care in Towson, MD. Nick was born in Baltimore to the late Barbara and Peter Kollman.He was a graduate of Calvert Hall High School, where he played trumpet in the band, Loyola College, and the University of Baltimore Law School. In 1962, he married his loving wife of 55 years, JoAnne. He is survived by his three children, Terri, Kenneth, and Kevin and his granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald.

Nick had a 50 year career in the printing industry as owner and executive of book manufacturing, commercial and pharmaceutical printing and packaging companies on the East coast including the Book Press, the second largest employer in the state of Vermont and John D. Lucas Printing Company in Baltimore, Maryland. He enjoyed his friends, family, granddaughters, pups, deep sea fishing, golfing, and wintering in Sailfish Point.

Friends and family are welcome at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. (Beltway exit 26) Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 10AM at the Catholic Community of St. Francis Xavier, 13717 Cuba Road Hunt Valley, MD 21030. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Catholic Charities of Baltimore.
