On April 19, 2010 Most Rev. William Donald Borders, D.D., 13th Archbishop of Baltimore. Beloved son of the late Zelpha Ann Queen Borders and Thomas Martin Borders. Devoted brother of Kenneth Borders, Janet Bachus and the late Sister Patrice (Laverne) Borders, Louise Borders, Charles Borders and Robert Borders. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The body of Archbishop Borders will be received with a public Rite of Reception at the Cathedral of Mary our Queen 5200 N. Charles Street on Thursday at 10:00 AM. From 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM he will lie in State. The Office of the Dead will be prayed in common at 7:30 PM. The Archbishop will lie in State on Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM. Entombment in the Cathedral Crypt will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Catholic Family Foundation of the Archdiocese of Baltimore 320 Cathedral Street Baltimore, Md. 21201 for the benefit of the Archbishop Borders School.
