On January 11th, Charlotte Snyder (née Helmbright) passed away following a short battle with liver cancer.   The fourth of twelve children born to Mireille and Gene Helmbright, she was raised in Baltimore and graduated from Patterson High School.

Charlotte attended CCBC where she got her Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy. She worked for 30 years at St. Joseph's Hospital in Towson where she was Employee of the Year three times before retiring in 2010.

Charlotte was an avid skier and travelled the country skiing with her husband, Wayne Snyder. In her retirement, she enjoyed shopping, puzzles and spending time with family.

She spent her last full day, her 76th birthday, surrounded by friends and family.  She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Wayne, her three daughters, Tina, Chantel, and Jessica, four granddaughters, Andrea, Elizabeth, Bethany and Margaret, and one great-grandchild, Storm.

A celebration of her life will be held on January 24th from 1-5pm at Rosedale Gardens in Baltimore. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to John's Hopkins Children's Cancer center in her honor.
