On July 13, 2010 Meyer R. Borghese, age 92, of Timonium, MD passed away. Mr. Borghese was married for 56 years to his beloved wife the late Josephine M. Borghese. He is survived by his loving son, Robert N. Borghese and his wife Joan, grandsons, Paul Borghese (wife Dianne), Mark Borghese (wife Kim), and Philip Borghese, nine great-grandsons: Robert, Jonathan, Nathan, Matthew, Simon, Aiden, Parker, Micah, and Sage. Mr. Borghese is the dear brother of Mary Gangi and the late Joseph Borghese and the late Major Alfred Borghese USAF. Mr. Borghese attended the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, graduated from the Maryland Institute for the Promotion of the Mechanical Arts, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS degree from the University of Baltimore School of Business. He had a long and successful career in the aerospace industry, having worked 28 years for The Martin Company (now Lockheed Martin) and 15 years for Westinghouse. To recognize his contributions to the aerospace industry Mr. Borghese's name is inscribed on the Gemini Monument in the Space Walk of Fame in Titusville, FL. Mr. Borghese was a faithful communicant of St. Joseph Parish, Cockeysville, MD and an active member of the Retirees Association of Martin Marietta (RAMM) and Westinghouse Retirees Association.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, 1050 York Rd (Beltway Exit 26A) Friday, July 16, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 100 Church Lane, Cockeysville, MD on Saturday, July 17, at 10am. Interment at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
