Obituary

MaryLou Kundratic, born May 8th, 1939, to Hannah Gaydos and John Gaydos, passed from this life on March 25th, 2025. MaryLou was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves behind her loving husband, James Kundratic Sr., son James Kundratic Jr. and daughter-in-law Catherine Kundratic, son Kenneth Kundratic and daughter-in-law Tina Kundratic, son David Kundratic, son Jeffrey Kundratic and daughter-in-law Cathleen Kundratic, son Brian Kundratic and daughter-in-law Chris Caprinolo. Her grandchildren include Melissa Kreit, James Kundratic III, Amanda Kundratic, Kevin Kundratic, Katlin Aeschleman, Jennifer Vogin, and Kelly Kundratic. Her great-grandchildren include Connor Kreit, Hannah Kreit, James Kundratic IV, Theo Aeschleman, and Eliza Aeschleman.


MaryLou cherished her times with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whenever they were able to visit or check in by telephone and facetime. MaryLou and her husband James would have been married for 69 years on April 1st of this year. She was a major support to her husband James, early in their marriage, when he started his own business where she worked beside him in running the office and was instrumental in his success. She worked for their business for 9 years while simultaneously raising their five sons. After that time, she stepped back to full time homemaker and mother.

After her children were grown, she pursued her own interests including attending college and working part time at a travel agency. She resided in Maryland for most of her life, moving to Pennsylvania in 2019. There, she lived on the family farm and enjoyed spending time tending to their horses, goats, and sheep.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends who will always remember her kindness and loving spirit.

A funeral service will be held at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc. 7922 Wise Avenue, Dundalk, Maryland  on Monday April 7, 2025, at 10am. Friends may visit on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 2 pm - 4pm and 6 pm – 8 pm. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
