Mary Brady Sinclair's Obituary
Mary Brady Sinclair resident of Vero Beach, FL and also long time resident of Baltimore, MD died Thursday of complications from lung cancer. She was 77.
She was born Mary Winfred Brady in Chicago, Illinois in l932 and was raised in York, PA. She attended Georgetown Visitation Academy in Washingion, D.C. She moved to
Baltimore in 1965 with her family and was an active member of tbe community. She volunteered at GMBC, St Elizabeth's, her children's schools and with the Junior League. Mary had a love for travel and was able to explore many destinations with her beloved
husband James Sinclair. She also had a passion for golf, a sport she picked after the age of 50! Her faith was a constant support in her life and she was an active member of the Catholic communities in Florida and Maryland. Mary Sinclair was a member of Baltimore Country Club where she and Jim enjoyed Friday night card games with friends.
The most important aspect of life to Mary was her family. She took pleasure from every moment spent with them and relished the joys they shared with her. She instilled a sense of loyalty, honor and dignity in each member of the blended family. The numerous
Sinclair gatherings included an annual golf tournment which was one of the most celebrated family events every year. Mary was able to enjoy the 2009 Sinclair Open this past September with many of her children and grand children.
Friends may call the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26A) on Monday from 6-9 P.M. A memorial mass with be offered at Sacred Heart Chtrch in Glyndon, MD at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, February 9, 2010.
She is survived by her husband James Sinclair, her 4 children Mary Starz Cole, Victor H.
Starz III, Edward J.B. Starz, Thomas B. Starz., her 5 step children John B. Sinclair, T.
Bradford Sinclair, Mary Beth Moehring, Mark D. Sinclair and the late Joanne Sinclair. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; Stephanie, Katherine, John, Amanda, Timothy, Peter, Tom, Steven, James, Jessica, Jaime, Susan, Lizzie, Becky and 2 great-grand daughters.
