Mary Caroline Pfeiler(nee Peet), gracefully and peacefully departed this life on Friday, May 28,2010. Born September 3, 1941 in Baltimore City, Carol grew up in the Govans area of Baltimore, attended St. Mary's of the Assumption School in Govans and Graduated from Eastern High School. Carol Retired from GBMC as Patient Coordinator in 2002. The Beloved wife of 48 years to Paul E. Pfeiler, Carol was the mother of three children, Christopher, Eric and Matthew. Carol and Paul raised their children in the Overlea/Fullerton community and as of late retired to Laurel, Delaware. Carol was blessed with two wonderful daughter-in-laws, Janine and Jackie. She is survived by her brother Robert Peet and his wife Grace of Barefoot Bay, Florida. Carol was predeceased by her sister the late Geraldine Novak and a brother, the late William Peet of Culpeper, VA. Carol was a proud grandmother of five grandchildren Linsay, Heather, Shannon, Max and Katie of Baltimore and one great grandchild Maddy. Nan loved her family

A Memorial Celebration will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday June 5,2010 at Central Christian, 7411 Rossville Blvd., Baltimore,MD 21237. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to Gilchrist Hospice Care 11311 McCormick Rd. Suite 350 Hunt Valley MD. 21031.
