Mary L Martin passed way peacefully on March 5, 2026 at age 70 . The daughter of the late J. William and Mary E. Martin.  The beloved sister of John W. Martin, Jr. (Dorene), Joan M. Martin, June M. Calwell (J. Andrew), the late Helena C. Martin and the late Phyllis A. Martin.  Cherished niece of Anna Mae Frederick (the late Edward M.)

Mary was born in Baltimore on May 18, 1955 and grew up in Riderwood and Mays Chapel neighborhoods.  For over the last 35 years, Mary maintained residency in the Woodlawn area.  She was a 1973 graduate of Maryvale Preparatory School and went on to graduate from Notre Dame College Maryland with a bachelor of fine arts, where she was involved with directing the Pumpkin Theatre for Children. After college Mary went to work for WBAL TV for a number of years before changing her career to floral design and working for a few different florist until her retirement. Mary was a big Ravens fan and followed the entire NFL league every week during the football season.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26) on Tuesday, March 10th from 10 to 11 AM, at which time a Funeral Service will begin.  Inurnment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
