Mary Tase Cavacos Hill, 97, passed away October 3, 2026. Born February 23, 1929, in Baltimore, Maryland. She was predeceased by her husband Bill Randall Hill, parents Helen Carter Cavacos and Anastasios (Tase) Theodore Cavacos, brother Theodore Tase Cavacos, sister-in-law, Vivian Cavacos and close cousins, Efrosene and Michael Kalezis, and Theodore and Patricia Capsanes. She is survived by her son, Michael T. Hill, stepson Steven G. Hill, and close cousins, Titsa and Manny Bronstein and her godson Peter Stephen Capsanes..

Mary was raised and lived with her grandmother Mary Cavacos and Godparents Catherine and Peter Capsanes and family. She graduated from Eastern High School and the Bard Avon Finishing School. She worked in the family confectionary/drug store, worked as a receptionist at American Express where she met and married her husband, Bill. She occasionally modeled, loved family, her Greek heritage and her church, where she sang in the Annunciation choir for many years. She had a beautiful soprano voice. She loved animals and frequently talked about her dog Smokey. She had a wonderful sense of humor, entertaining family who visited her as well as the many wonderful staff who cared for her at the Keswick Multi-Care Center.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the Greek Orthodox Chapel at the Windsor Mill Greek Orthodox Cemetery. Viewing and respects at 10:30a.m. with services beginning 11 a.m. Following services, interment will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery, 2130 Woodlawn Drive, Baltimore, MD 21207.
