Marlene Amland Snyder (nee King), died in her sleep at the age of 90 on August 17, 2026 at Autumn Lake Long Term Care.

Marlene was born on January 5, 1936 to Edward and Agnes King. She grew up in South Baltimore and attended St. Mary's Star of the Sea School. She enjoyed a long career as file clerk at Harbor Hospital.

She was always surrounded by a large family of aunts, uncles and cousins, along with life long friends from South Baltimore.

Marlene is predeceased by her daughters, Denise Horne and Doreen Williams; grandson, Gregory Horne; and husband, William Snyder. Marriages to Donald Granger, William Amland, and Butch Klein ended in divorce.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Georgia King. She remained close to her cousin, Rita Paul, and her life long friend, Babe Hughes and her daughter Kathy, who also survive her.

She will be interred alongside her children in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
