On July 16, 2009 MARIE L. SHORTER passed away at her home in Dundalk, MD. Marie, the beloved wife of the late Durward L. Shorter; devoted mother of Mary F. Walker and predeceased by her two sons Archie Shorter and Dale Shorter; devoted mother-in-law of Linda Shorter and the late Dorothy Shorter; loving sister of Lillian Pitzer, Edna Hull and the late Betty Whittaker; beloved grandmother of Mark, Tina, Edwin, Kevin, Diane and Sue; adored great-grandmother of Mark, Jr., Darren, Dustin, Tara, Alishia, Bradley and Steven; dear great-great-grandmother of Tyler and Lillian along with many other family and friends.

Friends may call at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Avenue on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Northpoint Baptist Church on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
