On July 7, 2025, Lyle P. Schill, Jr., beloved husband of Joanne A. Schill; devoted father of Thomas K. Schill and his wife Mary Catherine, Alison S. Paul and her husband Christian, and the late Alexander P. Schill; loving grandfather of Alexander "Xander" Schill, Alexis Paul, Dagan Schill, Abigail Paul, Addison Schill, Dawson Schill, and Amanda Schill; also survived by extended family and friends.

Lyle started his professional career at Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance as an insurance agent. He advanced to general agent than financial advisor for Mass Mutual, John Hancock, and Educators Financial over a span of 45 + years.

Lyle was an amazing husband, father and friend to many. He lived life to the fullest with his wife Joanne, traveling, golfing, boating, dancing and spending time with family and friends. Lyle enjoyed making people laugh by telling jokes or pulling pranks. He was always looking for his next opportunity to make someone smile.

Lyle had many interests in life but a couple he was passionate about were donating to Saint Jude and  to the Chesapeake Bay Projects.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26), on Thursday, July 17th, from 12:30-2:30 PM.  Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org
