On March 25, 2025, Loretta M. Vandenberg (nee Salkaukas) died peacefully in Towson, Maryland. Loretta is predeceased by her parents Victor B. Salkaukas and Alberta Salkaukas (nee Mickus) and by her brother John M. Salkaukas. She is the beloved wife of Richard A. Vandenberg and the devoted mother of Lisa M. Gough and her husband Jerry and Melanie T. Hartlove and her husband John. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Rev. Justin A. Gough, Andrew Hartlove and Erin Hartlove, and by other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at the family-owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway exit 26) on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 4PM-7PM where a Vigil and prayer service will be held at 7PM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 9AM. Interment, Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
