On February 27, 2025, Loretta J. Hoffman (nee Barczak) of Timonium, Maryland, beloved wife of 68 years to Gilbert A. Hoffman, Sr.; devoted mother of Normajean M. Oberst and her husband Thomas,  Eileen M. Kapusta and her husband Ronald, Janet M. Szoch and her husband Richard and the late Gilbert A. Hoffman, Jr.; also survived by 12 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 7, 2025 ,10AM at Christ The King Catholic Church, 1102 Hart Road, Towson, Maryland, 21286; Mrs. Hoffman will lie in state from 9AM - 10AM, at the church, just prior to the Mass. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
