On Friday, December 31, 2010, Loretta A. Glatz of Baltimore, Maryland and Southern Shores, North Carolina died after a 4 year battle with breast cancer. Loretta was born on October 7, 1942 in Syracuse, New York. She is survived by her husband Robert J. Glatz; her brother John C. Allan and his wife Donna of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; her children Robert A. Glatz of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, Elizabeth A. Hickey and her husband Brian of Cockeysville, Maryland, John J. Glatz and his wife Robin of Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania, and Margaret D. Glatz and her partner Michael J. Palmiere of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and her grandchildren John P. Russo, Katlyn E. Russo, Jacob R. Glatz, Meghan G. Silva, Garrett J. Glatz, and Allyson M. Glatz.


The family will receive friends at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26A) Thursday, January 6, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. There will be a memorial mass Friday, January 7, 11:00 AM at the Church of the Nativity, 20 E. Ridgley Road, Lutherville, Maryland 21093.
